I survived the most wonderful thunderstorm last night. Lightening flashed with the excitement of fireworks out of control. Thunder boomed like the canons of war. Wind blew causing the trees to dance with wild abandon, and as I heard and saw this–I crawled into bed, snuggled under my favorite blanket and dozed like a baby.
There was a time when storms frightened me and I would try to hide. Once one has lived “a little” one tends to discover that humanity can be more frightening and detrimental to the soul, spirit, and body, than an act of nature giving a free fireworks show.
Yes. Thunderstorms can be dangerous, but mankind is utterly beastly.
