It’s Back!

Winter arrived again (having never really left) on Sunday morning.  I awakened to rain and cold, and within a few minutes, the rain turned to snow.  This after a “winter” of 50 to 79 degree weather and children wearing shorts and sleeveless shirts to school.

This is the first snow, that I can remember, that fell on the same day as Daylight Savings Time so I “lost”  and hour of sleep and had to layer on a multitude of clothing to protect me from the cold. As I entered a building that was too warm, I peel the layers off just to carry around a bundle of clothes that I dared not leave lying around.

How dare I complain.  There are millions of people with real problems and miseries in this world.  No, I would not want to trade places with them. I am not sure that they would want to trade places with me either, to be honest. Sometimes if we knew the baggage that we carry just to look like we have made it, it makes you wonder….
