TWO NIGHTS IN ONE DAY

Only God could give us two nights in one day,
and cause the moon to block the mighty suns bright way–
The creatures of the world tricked into a second sleep
that lasted only moments, so amazing I could weep.
A miracle was witnessed by billions with shaded eyes
young and old alike could see the miracle undisguised.
Staring in amazement as the day became dark night;
knowing only God had showed the wonder of his might.
The solar eclipse cut a path across the great U.S of A.
A sight we shall not behold again until 100 years of days.
To all of us who gained respect for the awesomeness of God,
having read the stories of the flood and the stretching of the rod;
Let us continue to pray and believe, though we do not see
That there is indeed a God that watches over you and me.
Be not afraid to hold the hand so different from our own,
Be not so foolish as to think we do anything alone.
We were all created by a God whose ways are higher than we can think
and he knows that man can do good, but can also sink,
to levels deeper than the sea; perhaps to the gates of hell–
If tempted by the evils, his soul he may even sell.
RESIST all evil that may come to block your way,
Keep your heart and faith and love with GOD and live another day.
He who holds the earth, and sun, and moon in His mighty hands
Can make the darkest night alight for the love of man.
He who created man from clay giving him the breath from HIS own holy lungs
He who gave us a mind to think and gave some the gift of tongues–
He who created sun and moon, darkness and the day,
Is our Holy Father God, who sent His son to save…
The sinful soul of man and offer everlasting life
To a world of people he created and loves, from evils strain and strife.
For His miracles and His glory, We need to give HIM praise
For only God could awe the world with two nights in one day.
