My only resolution for 2021 is to make EVERY DAY count and to continue to help others.
In looking at 2020, and the changes we have had to go through, it seems like we need to prepare ourselves for even more of the unknown! I don’t have to list the heartaches, because we have all lived through them together. Yet, we continue to have hope!
2020 has been a year of clarity, as so many in the world come to realize that the average American, or citizen of any country, regardless of race or ethnicity is just a pawn in a political game of chess! The slogan for the year is BLACK LIVES MATTER, but does any life really matter to those who head the nation?
As we push through the final days and hours of 2020, I reflect upon the sadness that grips my heart and mind, even as I have great hopes for the future. There is a saying that PRAYER WORKS! God knows that I along with a lot of other people are praying…there is a scripture that says:
“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26 “ (KJV)
So, I continue to have faith, and live, give, and help (while taking safety precautions, as I work toward a better tomorrow. As we push our way into 2021, It is my hope that we can all work together as human beings and encourage each other to be better and do more for each other. We must not be the proverbial “crab in the barrel” we must be the “lifeboat” and help save those who are drowning in the sea of life!
Love wins, and even though we must love from a distance, you are all close in my heart!
