LIVING HISTORY

LIVING HISTORY

I spoke, and the words were repeated—and then some.
I walked, and I was followed.
I wrote, and it was read worldwide.
I touched, and it was felt.
I hit, and I felt the pain—saw it on your face.
I cried, but tears could not erase—the memories in your mind.
I hid but could not disappear—eyes were everywhere.
I stopped and thought (about the effect of words) and then I spoke to you.
I changed my walks direction, so my children had a better view
I wrote myself a future, that teaches every day
I touched love not anger, and the circle grew beyond my dreams.
I live history every day and make it better in every way.
